Gullwing & Flipped Shock Adapters – V2

The Gullwing Adapters were originally designed for the XRAY XT2, XT4, and SCX platforms, as well as the Schumacher Storm and Storm 2, to improve suspension geometry and deliver smoother, more controlled cornering. Due to popular demand, we’ve expanded fitment — see the full list below.

These adapters lower the rear shock mounting position, creating a more progressive and sweeping suspension action instead of a sharp, point-and-shoot feel. The result is a more planted, predictable vehicle that carries speed through corners with greater confidence.

V2 Design & Installation Improvements

The new V2 adapters are precision-machined for improved consistency and strength, delivering a smoother, more connected feel without sacrificing responsiveness.

The carbon versions use a screw from the backside to secure the shock, whereas the aluminum versions are threaded. Both versions lock to the arm with a set screw and flat head screw.

These adapters also make it easier to flip your shocks upside down or create a lower gullwing configuration on the vehicles listed below.

Fitment

For cars not listed here or older models, simple fitment check. The 1mm are 1mm between holes or 4mm center to center. The 2mm are 2mm between holes or 5mm center to center. This should cover most vehicles on the market even not listed here.
