XB4 ’24–’26 Front Towers

Designed specifically for the XB4 series cars (2024–2026 models), these precision-machined carbon towers maintain Xray’s dot-style measuring system and are available in 0, –2, and –4, options.

  • 2024 XB4 → Stock setting: 0

  • 2025 XB4 → Stock setting: –2

  • 2026 XB4 → Stock setting: –2

  •  The -6 options are only for the ‘25 & ‘26 buggy. 

• Carpet Racing Preference

  • Most competitive carpet racers prefer running the –6 tower for increased consistency and balance on high-grip surfaces.

With the introduction of the 2026 XB4, XRAY released an all-new front shock tower design. After extensive testing with this updated tower, we found that it offers different characteristics rather than being simply better or worse than the previous 2025-style tower.

The 2026 tower tends to be easier to drive and more forgiving around the track, with slightly reduced initial responsiveness on corner entry. This can be either a benefit or a drawback depending on driving style and skill level. In our testing, this tower has proven to work exceptionally well in very high-bite conditions and has been especially effective in our own racing programs.

By comparison, the 2025-style tower generally favors stock racing and rewards a more aggressive driver with a more direct, responsive feel.

To address the slightly lazier response of the 2026 tower, we incorporated a second set of inner ball stud mounting positions. These additional mounting points increase front-end responsiveness on corner entry, unlocking an entirely new range of front-end tuning options for the XB4.

Also on the '26 tower, you’ll see a unique shock mounting position. This is due to how the shock tower guard fits on the car. To make it so you only need one style shock tower guard to fit all three towers the shock tower top has to say the same, and the amount of position has to adjust slightly.
