Battery Hold-Down Kit – XB2 / XT2 (’24–’26 Models)

This Battery Hold-Down Kit is designed for the 2024–2026 XB2 and XT2 models, offering a stronger, more reliable alternative to the stock twist-style setup.

  • Note: When switching from a thin shorty to a full-size shorty, avoid reusing the same O-ring for thin packs to maintain consistent tension.

• Closed Battery Strap

  • This strap does double duty in securing the battery better while also allowing for flex changes between the mid and rear of the car. You can flip the strap around to change flex characteristics. 

  • The closed strap is made a little larger and this is on purpose. As it helps change flex characteristics it also leaves room for the car to flex around it. You can either leave it loose (it's about 1mm on all sides) or you can put closed cell foam on your battery sides. But this is designed specifically this way to limit torque binding when landing off of jumps and mid corner under power.
