The Straightline Kit takes proven concepts from past innovations and blends them with modern utility for today’s high-grip tracks.

Let’s start with the simple truth: as the RC industry continues moving toward higher-grip surfaces, something has to give. Cars are faster and more reactive than ever, and sometimes traditional suspension just can’t keep up with the rapid load transfer.

That’s where the Straightline Kit comes in.

By moving your battery to the center of the chassis, the Straightline Kit slows the rate at which the car rolls in and out of corners. This creates a smoother, more progressive feel that results in a car that is easier to drive, more stable, and able to be pushed harder with confidence.

With both the battery and electronics centered on the chassis, mounting electronics above the battery has minimal negative effect on handling. You now have less weight anchoring the sides of the car, reducing unwanted side-to-side load bias and improving overall balance.

One common downside of center-battery conversions is increased chassis stiffness. We addressed this by designing specialized washers with a controlled amount of compliance. These allow the chassis to maintain proper flex characteristics, preserving traction and feel while still gaining the benefits of the Straightline layout.

Battery Spacer (for Coyote/Trinity-style batteries)

This setup allows fitment of a wide variety of batteries and offers maximum tune-ability whether you’re running on CRC carpet or sealed surfaces.

Important: Do not overtighten screws. The T7 kit removes the bottom inner flat-head screw on the inner side rail to help retain proper chassis flex.
